One Man and 2 Dogs Killed In Morning Accident
A two car crash in Stanford has claimed the life of one man and and his two dogs.
It happened at about 2am this morning on KY 27, 2 miles south of Stanford. Police report a Pontiac Grand Am was traveling southbound without headlights or taillights on when a silver Pontiac crashed into the back of the vehicle. That sent the red vehicle crashing into a rock wall, causing the car to flip upside down and catch on fire.
State police say one person and two dogs were killed in the red vehicle. A mother and daughter were in the silver vehicle and were not injured.
The identity of the person was not released.
The accident remains under investigation.
