Madison Farmers Market Celebrates 20 Years

Farmers from the area will be showcasing their best products Saturday at the Madison County Farmers Market to celebrate their 20TH anniversary.

Spokesperson Paula Jones says they have a lot of activities planned as well as home grown fruits, vegetables and more.

“We’re hoping to have a big day. We have local farmers that bring their produce, honey, jams, jellies, breads and we’re just celebrating 20 years of hard work by the farmer,” said Paula Jones. “We’re going to have singing, balloons for the children, tattoos for the children, the Baldwin 4-H group will have a bake sale.”

The Madison County Farmers Market is at the Richmond Lowe’s parking lot and all activities and sales will start Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
