Bypass Reopened after Semi-Car Crash

In Richmond the Eastern Bypass was closed between Lancaster Avenue and the Speedway Station for several hours this morning when a passenger vehicle was “T” boned by a semi.

The accident happened at about 3:30am and the driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to UK Hospital.  The name of the driver has not been released.

The Bypass was reopened at about 5 :30am.

The accident remains under investigation.
