Lightning Strike Injures 4 In Richmond

In Richmond 4 people were treated for minor injuries when lightning hit the Cabinet for Health and Family Services Building on Anna Hume Road.

At around 1 p.m. lightning hit the rear of the building while the workers were working on their computers. All four received a mild shock but are ok.

The strike crashed the main computer server forcing the office to close for the afternoon.

In a separate incident a lightning strike sparked a garage fire on Hume Branch Road near Waco. No one was injured.
