3 Survive Medical Helicopter Crash

Three people have survived a medical helicopter crash in Lee County Lee.

According to Lee County Ambulance Director Steve McIntosh the crash occurred at about 5:30 this morning in the St. Helens community, about four miles east of Beattyville.

The pilot and one crew member refused medial treatment, however a second crew member was transported to the hospital with chest and leg pain.

The helicopter was approaching the landing zone when the cash occurred.

The Federal Aviation Administration is en route to the scene.
