Richmond Teen Faces Multiple Charges

A Richmond teen is facing multiple drug charges after police were called to investigate an alleged drug overdose Monday afternoon at a home on Evansdale Avenue.

Police say when they arrived they spoke with Brittany Taylor, 19, of Valley Street. Officers say she appeared under the influence, with constricted pupils and uncontrollable body movements.

Police say Tingle admitted to throwing away drug paraphernalia, including a spoon before they arrived.

During a search police found a small container holding a hydrocodone pil on her person.l. During a search of the home police found syringes. Spoons and a twisted belt, possibly used as a tourniquet.

Tingle is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and tampering with phyysical evidence.

She is lodged at the Madison County Detention Center.
