Nerve Agent Vapor Emission At Blue Grass Army Depot

Chemical crews detected a GB nerve agent vapor emission in a shipping and firing tube at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Madison County on Tuesday, according to the depot.

The detection came during routine monitoring and the depot says there was never a threat or danger to anyone in Madison County or surrounding counties.

The nerve agent is stored in an igloo at the depot.
