VINCENT NAMED DIRECTOR OF MBA PROGRAM AT EKU

Dr. Leslie Vincent is the new director of the Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) program at Eastern Kentucky University.

            Vincent joined EKU as an assistant professor of marketing in Fall 2014 after serving nine years on the faculty at the University of Kentucky, where she was actively involved in its MBA program.

            “I am very excited about the opportunity to take on a leadership role in the EKU MBA program,” Vincent said. “Given my experience with MBA teaching, curriculum development and marketing knowledge, my goal is to enrich the foundation of our current program to meet the changing needs of both students and employers. EKU has a dynamic faculty with a commitment to learning that we can leverage to provide top-quality MBA education.”

            Vincent, who earned her doctoral degree from Georgia Tech in 2005, taught New Product Development in UK’s Gatton College of Business & Economics.

            Her research interests focus on teams and new product development, marketing strategy and services marketing. Her research has been published in journals such as Management Science, The Journal of Consumer Research, and Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes.
