Storms Move Through Central Kentucky

Storms packing some strong wind gusts caused scattered damage around central Kentucky Tuesday evening.

The Madison County EMA sounded the sirens warning of severe storms moving through the county. A tree snapped and fell across a woman’s car in Richmond.

In Nelson County, a microburst tore the roofs from two warehouses at Heaven Hill Distilleries.

The storms also dumped heavy rain across the area, causing some minor flash flooding.
