Berea Police Investigate Fatal Hit & Run

Berea Police are investigating the death Billy Croucher, 71, who was found lying unresponsive in the roadway at the the intersection of Prospect Street and Forest Street just before midnight Friday.

Berea Police Sgt. Jake Reed says it was a hit and run.

“We know for a fact that this was a hit and run collision, said Sgt. Jake Reed. “Our accident re-constructionist was called to the scene and we had it roped off for about three hours while we processed the scene and collected evidence.”

No other vehicles were present at the time the he was found. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Berea Police Department.
