Mitch McConnell gives opinion on Donald Trump’s nomination

Recently, United States senator Mitch McConnell declined to comment on whether he thought presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, is qualified to be president. The senate majority leader said in an interview on ABC it was up to the American people to decide whether Trump or Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is the more qualified candidate, though he did say he felt Trump won the nomination “fair and square.”
